Memories of the game
Before the game Billy Wright was standing next to Puskas and someone shouting to Billy "that's the closest you have ever been to Puskas Billy" - only for Billy to shout "Yes, I know" and then turn to Puskas to tell him what was just said. Sportsmanship.
I can remember Honved taking the lead only for Andy Thompson of all people to crop up in the box near the end to score the equaliser - final score 1-1.
Jack Hayward was announced out by his son at the end of the game - and Jack came out standing on the back of a small open top four by four - he welcomed everyone to the new Molineux and Jack Harris commented on the stand named after him.
Then Jack did a lap of honour in the car waving to all the fans - followed by an absolutely fantastic firework display at around 9:30pm that lasted for about half an hour.
Tony Cooper - TIPTONWOLF
